Description
A gorgeous hidden gem located in the extreme northern Berkshires town of North Adams, just a short distance from the Vermont state line. I've hiked here several times over the years to try my luck at photographing peak fall foliage. Additionally, I had my fingers crossed to combine a colorful palette with a moderate flow of water from Notch Brook.
This image is by far my favorite of this lovely 40' cascade. Most of the waterfalls in New England seem to be surrounded more by Hemlock trees than colorful hardwood species and Notch Brook is no exception. I made a point to arrive here earlier in the season for this photoshoot as the leaves tend to drop all at once. The small patch of Beech trees and young Maples that make a canopy over the falls were beginning to show nice colors.
This image as a fine art print features really amazing detail and clarity. If you've ever enjoyed this 1.5 mile in and back hike or make the Berkshire's region your home, you'll be amazed by this hanging on your walls.

I've never seen this Berkshire waterfall captured so exquisitely. The lighting in particular is just so beautiful

Catching up!! Thank you, and thanks for exploring the entire scene. I admit, a Google search and even Flickr exploration revealed not much more than snapshots :)
