Description
Crystal Cascades is a highly photogenic double-tiered horsetail waterfall that one may visit via a spur along the Tuckerman Ravine hiking trail in Pinkham Notch. The Ellis River, which is 16 miles long and begins on the southeast flanks of Mt Washington, is the parent of Crystal Cascades.
The fall foliage adds a special element to an already spectacular and picturesque scenic landscape.

Thom – I wanted to let you know that your stunning image was a top-fifteen candidate for selection as the September 2023 "Photo of the Month" in the Go Take a Hike Photography Group. Even though not advancing as a finalist, this image is most worthy of recognition as a superb photographic effort, so congratulations and well done! Please feel free to add this gem to the “Candidates for Photo of the Month” discussion thread in the group.
