Description
Logan Pass high in Montana's Glacier National park is a scenic landscape of epic proportions. I wanted to capture the magnificent spirit and unspoiled nature of this wilderness, so pristine and home to abundant Rocky Mountain Bighorn sheep and the nimble footed Mountain Goats.
Arriving just before sunrise, I hiked carefully into the hanging gardens. As a naturalist, I am quite aware of the fragile environment and most respectful to the flora that surround my every footstep. The cascades running down the hanging gardens to meet with Reynolds Creek in the valley are numerous. This is one of them that captivated me!
We are making this available in assorted sizes up to 48 x 32" right here on this website. Yes, we do offer larger canvas and metal prints direct from Thomas Schoeller Photography so please do not hesitate to contact Tom direct with ANY questions!!

A splendid natural vista, as you say, very well captured. I particularly like the subtle diagonal of the rock strata with the rushing water at a cross diagonal. Lovely light and color. Congratulations on your 1st place win in the recent The love of the West contest.

Mr. Thomas, dear sir, your photography is positively stunning. I would call you Ansel Adams in color plus some. Over the years, I have seen no fewer than a zillion pretty photos, the kind you see on post cards, in calendars and so on; but what I really love about your work is that it has so much drama. It tells a captivating, beautiful story. Much kudos to you, kind sir.

Bijan you bestow the highest of honors upon myself. I am grateful for your very kind words. Ansel was a great visionary and a pioneer, both he and Elliot Porter opened the door to photography being accepted as a Fine Art and paved the way for the worlds most amazing nature photographers. Ansel is easily the worlds most quoted photographer and I love each and every one. I am thrilled that you connect with the scenes I capture..there is not much that exceeds the thrill of telling your story and having a captivated audience!
