Description
This awe-inspiring nature scene is from Two Medicine Lake, Glacier National Park Montana. The featured landscape profile is Mount Sinopah, a hulking reddish pyramid-shaped monolith that summits over 8,200 ft. high.
The morning Thom photographed this scene was especially serene. Two Medicine Lake is known for high wind gusts and turbulent choppy waters. Fortunately, the mirror-like surface of the sub-alpine lake provided crisp reflections.
This is an Open Edition fine art print and is available to purchase here, or artists direct from Thom's beautiful website. If you do order from Thom's website (www.Schoeller-FineArt.com) orders are delivered FREE standard S/H to the USA and Canada

Appreciate the wonderful compliments on the image Gary. I was amazed at how this scene changed over the course of sunrise. This turned out to be one of the very last images I made from this session.

Amazing capture, Thomas! A great sky, reflection and mountains! What a creative paint brush that God holds in His mighty hand!

Thanks David. The sky and reflections I thought really made this interesting. I tend to give credit for such natural scenic treasures to geological tectonic uplifting and the carvings from the most recent ice age. We're just one tiny blue marble in the cosmos
