Description
The Jenne Farm is a Vermont icon and was even filmed in the classic Americana movie Forrest Gump. It is pure quintessential New England, featuring rustic red barns on rolling hills surrounded by the vivid colors of autumns hue.
This image was captured very early on a crisp October morning. Thom explored the landscape, looking for interesting foreground and came upon this beaten-down fencepost and barbed wire. Thom felt this was the perfect foreground element which tied into the scene brilliantly.

Great view! Lovely capture. Strong contrasts of color and loaded with intensity. Would be a peaceful place to enjoy, Thomas. Lf

THX Mr Foliage :) I'm always amazed as to why the crowd is glued to the portion of dirt road.

HA..ME too, I am putting cows in my painting for the same reason, I hope you take a peek, it is in progress on my facebook page titled Nancy Griswold - Fine Artist. Love how you captures the foliage and dry summer grasses, a multi season photo. I was just there for 3 days this last week and miss Vermont terribly, such a haven for artists, I could dream all day there.

Very lucky Nancy, what an enchanting part of our world. I was all alone down here searching for an interesting foreground in a composition, something different than the cliche' touristic scene from the road. So happy to see someone has taken notice :) THX.
