Autumnal New England scene from the interior of a Covered bridge looking towards a rustic old barn on a curvy country roadway. It is a very popular selling nostalgic countryside print with art buyers!

This fine art photograph is a composite blend, combining elements of two image files with the idea of creating a quaint, one-of-a-kind, New England-themed fantasy image. Some refer to this as a "painterly" image.

One image was captured from inside the historic Durgin Covered Bridge in New Hampshire. The second image I photographed while exploring very rural backroads near Dublin NH earlier on the same day. I'll never forget how I literally stopped dead in my tracks when I drove past the rustic barn along an unpaved country road! The 15 MPH sign on the tree is a subtle yet important element of this artwork.

Art is subjective, as is the way an artist may interpret the scene before them. Painters take liberties of adding or leaving out various details when they create their original. Photographers simply use cameras and various artistic techniques as their tools to achieve their own masterpieces. I feel it is important to reveal when a photographic artwork is a composite blend, so buyers understand it's the result of the artist's own unique creative vision.
