Rich vibrant hues of deep reds and magenta sunset skies illuminate this inspirational seascape from Bass Harbor featuring the Bass head lighthouse.
Bass Harbor is on Mount Desert Island Maine and part of the incredible beauty of what is Acadia National Park, the crown jewel of New England.
The artist timed this photo session just right as pools of seawater were left in wake of the outgoing tide so he could capture magical reflections of the stately lighthouse perched on the rocky coastline.

This place has given me heartache over a decade. I've been skunked year after year, the worst luck ever. I thought after THIS sunset and the perfect tide pool in the rocks I was sure to drop dead hiking up the stairs :)
