This fine art photograph is a composite blend, combining elements of two image files with the idea of creating a quaint, one-of-a-kind, New England-themed fantasy image. Some refer to this as a "painterly" image.
One image was captured from inside the historic Durgin Covered Bridge in New Hampshire. The second image I photographed while exploring very rural backroads near Dublin NH earlier on the same day. I'll never forget how I literally stopped dead in my tracks when I drove past the rustic barn along an unpaved country road! The 15 MPH sign on the tree is a subtle yet important element of this artwork.
Art is subjective, as is the way an artist may interpret the scene before them. Painters take liberties of adding or leaving out various details when they create...
