Description
The Laurel Ridge Foundation lies on a 700 acre private farm in the rolling hills of Litchfield County Connecticut. A nirvana for those who love the rejuvenation of spring, nearly 15 acres including 2 small islands on this pond are home to virtual millions of blooming daffodils.
The farm is on a gently sloping woodland in a park like setting and is known as one of Connecticut's most gorgeous places to visit during the spring.
This image was professionally photographed by Thomas Schoeller. Controlling the back-lighting of a setting sun and maintaining great detail in the foreground is of utmost importance. Also note the converging lines which naturally draw the human eye from the widest section right to the narrow point on the left. The calm reflections, warm sunset tones and blooming fields of daffodils will make for a wonderful companion decor print for decades!
This print is available in sizes from 12 x 8" up to 24 x 16" as well as greeting cards
