Description
Narragansett Rhode Island is the home of the iconic Point Judith Lighthouse. The gorgeous historic structure was constructed of Brownstone dating originally back to 1857. The tower reaches a final height of 51'
The passage past Point Judith was a dangerous one, with a treacherous ledge to the west and frequent fog in the area. A day beacon at Point Judith dated back before the American Revolution.
Aside from the usefulness of these picturesque structures, just the mention of a lighthouse tower on the New England coast conjures up thoughts of quintessential seascapes. This is one such scene, capturing a brilliant star burst effect as the sun sets just beyond the tall bluff.
We've made this Point Judith light image available in assorted sizes right up to a grand 40 x 26.5"
Larger sizes are available by contacting Thomas direct, as are many custom options as Metalprints!!
