I love finding these enchanted hidden country roads in the rural woodlands of Southwestern New England. A rustic farmhouse on the corner of a curvy country road, as it takes you under the canopy of a forested landscape of golden fall foliage. Ahhh, pass the Apple pie please!
I've visited and photographed this beautiful and peaceful farmscape on several occasions, however, this visit was different than past experiences. Although much of the scene lends a dark and mysterious mood, this is the first time I was able to capture just enough reflected light to illuminate the face of the barn and leading stone wall as I had pictured the scene in my mind many times over. The soft lighting allowed for a realistic, yet idyllic painterly quality.
Thom has made this design available in assorted print sizes, from 12 x 8" on the small end up to a commanding and crystal clear 48 x 32" (not including mat or frame size) Also available as 5x7 gift cards.
